Overview

We are hiring a Chinese Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, ensure high standards for Chinese cuisine, and manage kitchen staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production for the Chinese cuisine section.
• Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff, allocating duties and maintaining discipline, hygiene, and production standards.
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of authentic Chinese dishes, adhering to taste, quality, and presentation standards.
• Monitor food costs, implement wastage control measures, manage stock planning, and optimize kitchen workflow efficiency.
• Contribute to menu planning, support staff training, and drive continuous improvement in kitchen standards and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven strong kitchen leadership experience, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or premium food operations, with a focus on Chinese cuisine.
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure high standards of food quality and consistency.
• Proficiency in food cost control, wastage management, stock planning, and optimizing kitchen workflow.
• Excellent understanding and strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and production standards.
• Strong leadership, disciplinary, and decision-making skills.
