Housekeeping Supervisor

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor for its housekeeping operations in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site island resort job in North Malé Atoll. Oversees room and public-area presentation, coordinates attendants and helps maintain consistent guest accommodation standards.

Role Overview

Oversees room and public-area presentation, coordinates attendants and helps maintain consistent guest accommodation standards. The position contributes to the resort’s service quality, reliable daily operations and appropriate safety practices. Strong coordination with other departments is an important part of the work in an island setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily room assignments, check occupancy updates and prioritise service requests.
• Inspect completed guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and readiness.
• Coach housekeeping colleagues on procedures, linen handling and guest courtesy.
• Liaise with reception and engineering on room status and repair needs.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, linen use, equipment and safe chemical handling.
• Resolve routine guest housekeeping concerns and maintain accurate shift records.

Useful Experience and Skills

• Experience in hotel or resort housekeeping operations.
• Ability to organise teams, assign tasks and conduct quality checks.
• Knowledge of cleaning safety, room setup and linen controls.
• Clear communication, discretion and a guest-first approach.
