Public Area Attendant

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is recruiting a Public Area Attendant for its housekeeping / public areas operations in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site island resort job in North Malé Atoll. Maintains cleanliness and presentation of guest-facing common areas throughout the island resort.

Role Overview

Maintains cleanliness and presentation of guest-facing common areas throughout the island resort. The position contributes to the resort’s service quality, reliable daily operations and appropriate safety practices. Strong coordination with other departments is an important part of the work in an island setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, corridors, restrooms and designated shared areas.
• Maintain entrances, walkways and public-area fixtures as assigned.
• Replenish supplies and keep cleaning equipment ready for use.
• Follow appropriate signage and safe procedures for wet surfaces.
• Report damage, hazards or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Work discreetly around guests and respond courteously to simple requests.

Useful Experience and Skills

• Experience in hotel public-area cleaning is beneficial.
• Knowledge of routine sanitation and cleaning safety.
• Careful presentation standards and awareness of guest privacy.
• Ability to follow a schedule and coordinate with housekeeping colleagues.
