Overview

We are hiring energatic and passionate candidate for the position of Cashier. As a Cashier at 7Even Sky Lounge & Kitchen, you do much more than just process payments. You are a key guardian of the guest experience and financial accuracy. Operating in a high-volume, fast-paced lounge environment, you will handle cash and digital transactions, manage guest tabs, split complex bills for large parties, and ensure every guest departs with a stellar lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accuracy: Manage the POS (Point of Sale) system to process cash, credit cards, contactless payments, and digital wallets accurately.

  • Tab Management: Keep a sharp eye on open lounge and bar tabs, ensuring all items ordered are properly reconciled before closing out bills.

  • Guest Relations: Greet departing guests warmly, handle bill inquiries or discrepancies with a calm and helpful attitude, and thank them for choosing 7Even Sky.

  • Compliance & Verification: Strictly verify guest identification for credit card transactions and ensure compliance with legal age requirements for alcohol sales when closing tabs.

  • Cash Handling & Reporting: Open and close cash drawers with 100% accuracy, perform mid-shift drops, and balance the drawer against POS reports at the end of the night.

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate fluidly with servers, bartenders, and management to resolve pricing errors, voided items, or guest complaints swiftly.

Requirement

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a cashier or server in a high-volume restaurant, upscale lounge, or busy nightclub environment.

  • Tech Savvy: High proficiency with modern restaurant POS systems (e.g., Toast, Lightspeed, Aloha, or Clover).

  • Math Skills: Strong basic math skills for quick, accurate cash handling and splitting complex bills among large groups.

  • Pace & Focus: Ability to maintain speed, composure, and accuracy during peak nightlife hours (weekends, late nights, and holidays).

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a neat, professional appearance that aligns with our upscale lounge brand.

  • Availability: Flexibility to work evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
