Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is seeking a Commis I for a full-time culinary vacancy at its resort in North Malé Atoll, Maldives. The kitchen team supports food quality, safe preparation and dependable dining service for international resort guests.

Role Overview

Support the assigned kitchen section with mise en place, preparation, cooking and service, working closely with senior chefs and other departments. Maintain food safety, product quality and presentation throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assigned dishes according to established resort kitchen recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain organised mise en place and timely food preparation during breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Observe safe food handling, temperature controls, allergen awareness and hygienic storage practices.
• Keep workstations, equipment and utensils clean while following stock rotation procedures.
• Communicate service timing and preparation needs with senior chefs and kitchen colleagues.
• Monitor portion consistency, presentation and responsible use of ingredients.

Required Skills and Experience

• Practical hotel, resort or restaurant kitchen experience is relevant.
• Working knowledge of food preparation and hygiene in a professional kitchen.
• Organisational skills and calm performance during busy meal periods.
• Teamwork, punctuality, adaptability and clear communication.

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is a premium all-inclusive island resort on Lhohifushi in North Malé Atoll, Maldives.
