Demi Chef de Partie – Indian Curry

Radisson Hotel Lucknow City Center is hiring a Demi Chef de Partie – Indian Curry for its Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh property. Assist with the Indian curry section, maintain consistent taste and presentation, and coordinate culinary production for hotel dining and events.

Position Overview

Department: Kitchen / Culinary / Indian Cuisine. Job type: Full Time. This is an on-site hospitality opportunity at the Kaiser Bagh hotel. The successful candidate will contribute to consistent operations, a professional guest experience and effective collaboration with colleagues. Day-to-day assignments and reporting relationships will be confirmed by the hiring team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare Indian curry bases, gravies, sauces and finished dishes according to the kitchen’s recipes and quality standards.
• Organise daily mise en place and maintain ingredient availability for à la carte, buffet and event service.
• Monitor cooking methods, seasoning, portions, texture and presentation for consistent results.
• Coordinate order timing with senior chefs and other sections during service.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, safe holding temperature and allergen-control procedures.
• Monitor food storage, labelling, stock rotation and careful use of raw ingredients.
• Guide commis colleagues as assigned and help maintain orderly, safe kitchen workstations.
• Report quality concerns, equipment issues and ingredient shortages to kitchen leadership.

Relevant Skills and Experience

• Professional Indian kitchen experience, particularly with curry preparations, in a hotel or commercial restaurant.
• Knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, classical and regional preparations and efficient mise en place.
• Awareness of safe handling, food hygiene and kitchen sanitation.
• Strong teamwork, attention to flavour and an ability to work in a busy service kitchen.

Hotel service requires attention to detail, a courteous and responsible approach, good communication, awareness of relevant safety and hygiene procedures, and coordination with neighbouring departments. Team members may support breakfast, dining, events, business travel and day-to-day hotel operations depending on their department and approved schedule.
