Overview

Mayadeep Resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to resort standards.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to supervisors.
  • Ensure all housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies are properly used and stored.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as directed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and guest satisfaction targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to guest service excellence.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic communication skills in Hindi and/or English.
