Laundry Boy

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is recruiting a Laundry Boy for its laundry / housekeeping operations in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site island resort job in North Malé Atoll. Supports the resort laundry operation with accurate sorting, washing, drying and linen preparation.

Role Overview

Supports the resort laundry operation with accurate sorting, washing, drying and linen preparation. The position contributes to the resort’s service quality, reliable daily operations and appropriate safety practices. Strong coordination with other departments is an important part of the work in an island setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort and count soiled linen according to handling procedures.
• Load laundry machines and use appropriate programmes and detergents.
• Dry, fold and prepare clean linen and uniform items for distribution.
• Identify damaged, stained or missing items and report discrepancies.
• Keep machines, folding stations and laundry rooms safe and tidy.
• Maintain linen handling records and coordinate timely supplies to housekeeping.

Useful Experience and Skills

• Familiarity with laundry machinery and garment-care labels is helpful.
• Awareness of safe handling, hygiene and chemical procedures.
• Accuracy in sorting, counting and processing linen.
• Physical organisation, punctuality and teamwork.
