Team Leader – Housekeeping

Vivanta Ekta Nagar, Statue of Unity is hiring Team Leader – Housekeeping for an on-site, full-time position in Ekta Nagar, Narmada district, Gujarat, close to the Statue of Unity. Coordinate housekeeping activities across guest rooms and public areas, guide attendants and help uphold the cleanliness, room readiness and presentation expected at Vivanta Ekta Nagar.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate guest room and public-area cleaning priorities during assigned shifts.
• Check completed rooms and common spaces for cleanliness and presentation.
• Liaise with front office to support timely arrivals and departures.
• Guide housekeeping associates on methods, linen, amenities and equipment use.
• Track maintenance issues, lost property and guest requests according to policy.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and promote safe chemical use and storage.
• Support quality inspections, accurate shift records and practical on-job coaching.
• Respond promptly and discreetly to guest concerns while maintaining privacy.

Skills and Relevant Experience

• Relevant hotel housekeeping experience with ability to organise a small team.
• Good understanding of cleaning standards, linen control and room inspection.
• Attention to detail, safe working practices and respect for guest privacy.
• Clear communication with front office, engineering and housekeeping managers.
• Guest-focused communication, professional integrity and willingness to collaborate with diverse colleagues.
• Ability to work an on-site, full-time hospitality schedule as determined by hotel operations.
