Cafe Staff

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Café Staff to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences by preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer orders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day café operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and recommend menu items.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, smoothies, beverages, and café food according to company standards.
• Ensure food presentation and quality meet brand expectations.
• Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service counter, kitchen, and equipment.
• Restock ingredients, packaging materials, and café supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist in opening and closing café operations.
• Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to ensure timely service.
• Support inventory checks and report low stock to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in a café, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality environment.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in coffee preparation or café operations.
• Basic barista skills will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of POS billing systems.
