Overview

Avisa Hospitality Pvt Ltd is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate should have excellent beverage preparation skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to create exceptional guest experiences through quality coffee service and warm hospitality.

The Barista will be responsible for preparing beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, handling guest interactions professionally, and ensuring smooth café operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages as per company standards
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and related café equipment efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, workstation, and service areas
• Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Take customer orders accurately and handle billing/POS operations
• Ensure proper stock handling and report inventory requirements
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Upsell café products and recommend beverages to guests
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations
• Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in café operations preferred
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work in fast-paced hospitality environments
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills

• Latte art and specialty coffee knowledge
• Experience with espresso machines
• Customer engagement and upselling skills
• Cash handling and POS knowledge
